______________
All roads lead to the historic town of Big Stone
Gap, Virginia, located on the "Trail of The Lonesome Pine." The big event
is the annual Tri-State Singing Convention. This famed Convention was
first held in June, 1921 by C. W. Waddell at beautiful Bullitt Park and was
called the Wise County Singing Convention. It was borne of a love for good
gospel singing and has gone beyond the wildest dreams of the people who fathered
it.
The Tri-State Gospel
Singing Convention is known as the oldest and largest event of its kind in the
United States, having attracted crowds in excess of 15,000.
CONCESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE!
